We love it when we hear about unusual accommodation; a luxury travel location that offers something a little different, a little special. And the Connoisseur more than delivers in this regard; a luxury yacht moored in the very heart of London, elegantly designed and offering amazing city views.
Connoisseur’s residence is in the iconic St. Katharine Docks in London and she assumes the marina’s most enviable mooring. Nestled next to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, its central location is perfect for unique overnight stays, short breaks and retreats, and for exploring London.
Style & Character
The Connoisseur is an impressive 64-foot 2017 Prestige yacht, she has been expertly designed and the result is a stylish, chic space that is comfortable and feels a lot more spacious than other similarly sized yachts. The decor is inspired by Italian design, the outside decks are the best possible teak and the interior feels easily as sophisticated as a 5-star hotel.
Service & Facilities
The yacht sleeps 6 comfortably and has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a stunning saloon and a fully equipped kitchen. The views from the yacht are breathtaking looking right across to the marina and the River Thames. The saloon is all on one level and has plenty of space for 6-8 guests to spread out, relax and dine, there is a 36-inch TV and sound system. On deck, you find the ideal relaxation and entertaining space; the flybridge has ample room for 8 guests plus the crew and on the lower, after deck there is outside dining space for up to 8 guests. This is definitely where you’ll want to spend your time; although it’s beautiful inside, there’s nothing quite like those wrap-around views from the deck. The Connoisseur is managed by the Conway Club who use the luxurious yacht for private events, private charter and of course, accommodation. The service is exceptional, they do everything that they can to make your experience memorable. This is their first vessel we will certainly be eagerly awaiting others!
There are 3 elegant and beautifully appointed guest cabins; the beautiful Master Suite has a king-size bed and a generously proportioned ensuite, the Bow Suite also has a king-size bed and an ensuite and the Cabin Suite can be either a twin or king size room and it shares the yachts main shower room. All the rooms have their own TV, speakers that are linked to the yachts integrated sound system, individually controlled air conditioning / heating, Egyptian cotton linen, towels and White Company toiletries. There is also a Crew Cabin with two single beds so the yacht can accommodate up to 8 if required.
Food & Drink
This is probably the most luxurious that self-catering can get, and you are very well setup to self-cater; the fully equipped galley kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, full size fridge freezer and ice machine! However, if you don’t really have cooking in mind for your retreat, the marina houses a varied collection of restaurants and shops, or why not have your very own private chef and waiting crew to serve your breakfast, lunch and dinner. This can also include a turn down service, concierge, chauffeur and all the other little luxuries you would expect from a top London 5-star hotel, just with the added bonus of staying on an exclusive yacht.
